Google Workspace Integration

TL;DR

Connecting Google Workspace lets JaxSuite AI send campaign email through your own Gmail inboxes over OAuth, then read replies back into a shared inbox. Mail leaves your domain and your sending reputation, not a shared relay.

What does connecting Google Workspace do?

Campaign email is sent through the Gmail API using your account, so the message comes from your domain with your authentication already in place. There is no shared IP pool and no relay domain in the headers, which is what keeps the reputation you build attributable to you.

Replies are read back, so a response to a campaign lands in the unified inbox next to the contact record and the sequence stops for that contact automatically rather than on the next manual review.

How many Gmail inboxes can I connect?

There is no per-account limit on connected inboxes, and campaigns rotate across the ones you assign to them. Rotation is the reason to connect several: it spreads volume so no single mailbox sends at a rate that looks automated.

Google enforces its own per-mailbox sending limits, and those apply regardless of the tool. Warmup ramps a new mailbox up gradually rather than starting at the ceiling.

Does it read my whole mailbox?

The connection requests Gmail read access, which is what makes reply detection possible: a reply arrives as an ordinary message in your inbox, and there is no narrower Gmail scope that exposes only replies to mail you sent.

What the product does with it is narrower than what the scope allows. Reply matching is keyed on the campaign messages it sent, and Postmaster Tools access is read-only domain reputation data rather than message content.

How to connect Google Workspace

  1. Open Settings, then Email Accounts, and choose Add Account.
  2. Pick Google Workspace or Gmail and sign in with the mailbox you want to send from.
  3. Grant the requested permissions on the Google consent screen.
  4. Confirm SPF, DKIM and DMARC pass on the domain, which the account view checks for you.
  5. Assign the mailbox to a campaign, or start warmup first if the domain is new.

What this connection does not do

  • Sending is per connected mailbox, so a mailbox that Google suspends stops sending until it is restored.
  • Google Workspace enforces its own daily send limits, which JaxSuite AI cannot raise.
  • Aliases send under the primary mailbox reputation rather than building their own.
FAQ

Frequently asked questions

  • Both connect over OAuth. A free gmail.com address cannot publish its own SPF, DKIM or DMARC records, so it cannot be authenticated as your domain, which is why cold outreach at any volume uses a Workspace mailbox on a domain you control.
