Zoom Integration
TL;DR
Connecting Zoom lets JaxSuite AI create a Zoom meeting for each confirmed booking and attach the join link to the calendar event and the confirmation email. Nobody has to paste a link in after the fact.
When is the Zoom meeting created?
At the moment a prospect confirms a slot, not when the link is shared. The meeting is created against your Zoom account, so it carries your account settings for waiting rooms, recording and passcodes rather than a generic default.
The join link then travels with the booking: onto the calendar event, into the confirmation email, and onto the contact record, so a reschedule updates one meeting rather than creating a second one.
Do I need Zoom if I already use Google Meet?
No. A Google Calendar connection can create Meet links on its own, so Zoom is worth connecting when it is the tool your prospects expect or your team standardises on.
Both can be connected at once, with the meeting provider chosen per booking link. Teams that sell into enterprises often keep Zoom for external calls for exactly that reason.
How to connect Zoom
- Connect a calendar first, since a Zoom meeting is attached to a booking rather than created on its own.
- Open the Calendar section of the dashboard and choose Connect Zoom.
- Sign in to Zoom and approve the meeting permission.
- Set Zoom as the meeting provider on the booking links that should use it.
What this connection does not do
- A Zoom connection alone does not provide availability; a calendar connection supplies that.
- Meetings are created under the connected Zoom account, so its plan limits on meeting length apply.
Frequently asked questions
Any plan that can create meetings through the API, including the free tier. The free tier duration limit applies to the meeting itself, since the meeting belongs to your Zoom account.
